Pastor Training Recap.

This is a 35 minute video of a teaching team giving impressions and observations of their one week experience teaching river pastors at The Cocama Project’s Mission Outpost. It is well worth the time to view as it contains first-hand testimonies from these team members who were willing to make the journey and share the good news of Jesus Christ in one of the most remote places on earth.

Pastor Orlando (Matses Tribe)

An incredible 35 minute interview with a pastor from the Matses tribe located near Brazil. While attending one of The Cocama Project’s pastor training events at their Mission Outpost Pastor Orlando tells of being the son of a woman kidnapped as a child during a tribal raid and subsequently raised as a Matses. His story of the Matses, their history and the extremely difficult lives of the Amazon’s tribal natives is riveting.

Virtual Mission Trip

An hour and forty minute video of a virtual mission trip sponsored by Associate Pastor Dr Brian Hebért of Wilcrest Baptist Church in Houston Texas. Because the Covid pandemic had eliminated any possibility of in-person mission trips for 2020 Brian suggested to the Cocama Project that a “Virtual Mission Trip” be held. Several speakers including the Executive Director of Missions for San Felipe Baptist Association Dr Sam Waltman, the chairman of The Cocama Project Zach Nicholson and some who have previously made the trip to The Cocama Project’s Mission Outpost give personal testimonies about their experiences of working with this ministry.
